Rotary compressor airends fail for a variety of reasons. Most of the causes of premature failure can be avoided. Therefore, we thought it might be appropriate to share some of our observations with you so that you may avoid making the same costly mistakes. 

Over the years we have had the opportunity to examine many thousands of failed airends that come to us as cores for remanufactured units. After the first thousand or so, even the dullest observer can begin to see certain patterns form: 


    Normal Bearing Wear

    Lubrication Problems


Lack Of Oil Supply

    Drive Related Failures and Broken Shafts
